THROTTLE BODY







Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The throttle body bore and plate area have a special coating and cannot be cleaned.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
3. Disconnect the 2 throttle body (TB) electrical connectors.

4. NOTE: Inspect and install a new throttle body gasket as necessary.

Remove the 4 bolts and the TB.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
