REAR WINDOW WIPER MOTOR







Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure the wiper motor is in the park position.

Lift up the cover and loosen the rear window wiper pivot arm nut approximately 2 turns.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).

2. Lift the rear window wiper pivot arm and release it from the taper by moving it to one side.
3. Remove the nut and the rear window wiper pivot arm.
4. Remove the liftgate trim panel screws.
5. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
6. Remove the bolt and the ground lead.
7. Remove the 3 bolts and position aside the rear window wiper motor mounting plate.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

8. NOTE: Make sure the wiper motor is in the park position.

Remove the 3 bolts and the rear window wiper motor from the mounting plate.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
