Gearshift Lever

Removal and Installation





1. Remove the gearshift cover.
1 Unclip the cover from the console.
2 Remove the gearshift lever knob.
2. Remove the floor console. For additional information, refer to Console.





3. Remove the shift cables from the gearshift levers.
1 Carefully pry the gearshift cables from the shift levers.
2 Rotate the abutment sleeve clockwise and detach the shift cable from the bracket.





4. Remove the 4 gearshift lever bolts and the gearshift lever.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
^ Adjust the gearshift and selector cables.
