Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives a voltage signal from the ignition switch through circuit 30S-GM7 (RD/WH) when the key is in the ignition switch. The ignition switch receives voltage from the battery junction box (BJB) fuse 22 (20A) through circuits 30-BB20 (RD) and 30-DA5 (RD/BK). The instrument cluster, upon receipt of the key-in voltage signal, sounds the audible chime at a rate of 120 chimes per minute.

Possible Causes
- 30S-GM7 (RD/WH) short to voltage
- ignition switch
- instrument cluster
