Normal Operation
The instrument cluster communicates interactively with other electronic modules using the communication network. For additional information on module communication, refer to Information Bus (Module Communications Network). With the ignition switch in the START/RUN position, the instrument cluster receives power from the central junction box (CJB) fuse 4 (5A), circuit 15-GG1 (GN/BU) and 17 (5A), circuit 15-JA14 (GN/BK). With the ignition switch in the RUN/ACC position, voltage is received from the CJB fuse 13 (5A), circuit 75-GG15 (YE/GN). With the ignition switch in the OFF position, the instrument cluster receives voltage from CJB fuse 20 (10A), circuit 29-GG11 (OG/BU). The instrument cluster grounding is accomplished through circuits 91-GG11 (BK/BU), and 31-AL11 (BK).

Possible Causes
- circuit 15-GG1 (GN/BU) open
- circuit 15-JA14 (GN/BK) open
- circuit 75GG15 (YE/GN) open
- circuit 29-GG11 (OG/BU) open
- circuit 31-AL11 (BK) open
- circuit 91-GG11 (BK/BU) open or short to voltage
- instrument cluster
