Convertible Top Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVABLE TOP RETAINING LATCH







Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 8 pin-type retainers and the package tray.
2. Remove the quarter window trim panel.
3. (RH side only) Unclip and disconnect the removable top electrical connector.







4. Remove the 3 bolts and the removable top retaining latch.
- To install, loosely install the bolts.
- Adjust the removable top so that the latches engage.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the removable top retaining latch after installation.
