Trunk / Liftgate: Adjustments

LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID ALIGNMENT

1. Remove the pin-type retainers and the luggage compartment lid trim panel.
2. Remove the bolts and the luggage compartment lid striker.
3. Loosen the lower hinge bolts enough to permit movement.
4. Adjust the hinge to align the luggage compartment lid as necessary.
- Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).

5. Install and adjust the luggage compartment lid striker as necessary.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

6. Position the luggage compartment lid trim panel and install the pin-type retainers.
7. Lubricate the hinges and check arms with multi-purpose grease spray.
