Normal Operation
When the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the audio unit is turned on, communication should be possible between the diagnostic tool and the audio unit. The tool should successfully retrieve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), monitor PIDs, and record data.

Possible Causes
- circuit 29-MD15 (OG/BK) open or short to ground
- circuit 91-MD15 (BN/GN) open
- circuit 75-MD15 (YE/GN) open or short to ground
- communication network
- audio unit
