Brake Disc





Material

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, Maintenance/Service and Repair.

2. CAUTION: When removing the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly, never allow it to hang from the brake hose. Provide a suitable support.

Remove the 2 bolts and position the brake caliper anchor plate and brake caliper assembly aside.
3. Remove the brake disc.

Installation
1. Clean any rust or debris from the brake disc and the wheel hub.
^ Use brake parts cleaner to clean the brake disc and hub surfaces.

2. CAUTION: Do not allow the lubricant to make contact with the wheel studs, brake pads, or brake disc.

Apply a thin coat of anti seize lubricant to the hub flange.
3. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install the 2 bolts.
^ Tighten to 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
4. Test the brakes for normal operation.
