Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

Adjustment





1. Shift selector lever in position "D".

2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Disconnect the shift cable end from the manual control lever.





4. Unlock the shift cable end. Make sure that the cable end moves freely.





5. NOTE: The Transmission Range (TR) sensor mark must be in line with the transaxle selector lever.

Move the transaxle selector lever to position "D" (TR sensor removed shown).





6. Connect the shift cable end of the manual control lever.





7. Press the lock tab down to secure the cable end from moving.

8. Lower the vehicle.

9. Check to make sure that the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL and the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.
