Trunk / Liftgate Hinge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the electrical connector.







2. Remove the lift cylinder.







3. Remove the luggage compartment lid hinge bolts.







4. Remove the nuts and the luggage compartment lid hinge.

NOTE: Remove the sealer around the luggage compartment lid hinge if necessary.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: If removed, apply new sealer.
