Water Pump Housing

Water Pump Housing-2.0L Zetec

Removal
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the timing belt.





3. Remove the timing belt idler pulley.





4. Disconnect the coolant pump hose.





5. Remove the coolant pump housing lower retaining bolt (shown from below for clarity).





6. Remove the coolant pump housing upper retaining bolt.





7. Remove the coolant pump housing.





8. Remove the coolant pump from the coolant pump housing.
^ Discard the sealing ring





9. Remove and discard the sealing ring.

Installation

NOTE: Install a new coolant pump scaling ring.

NOTE: Install a new coolant pump housing scaling ring.














1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
