Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

SWITCH - COUPE SHOWN, SEDAN SIMILAR

REMOVAL







1. Remove the instrument panel upper finish panel insert.







2. Remove the nut on the backside of the hood latch release handle.
- Position the hood latch release handle aside.







3. Remove the screw and the instrument panel steering column cover.







4. Disconnect the light switch rheostat resistor electrical connector.







5. Depress the locking tabs and remove the light switch rheostat resistor from the instrument panel steering column cover.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
