Multifunction Switch

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the instrument panel cluster finish panel.





3. Remove the steering column reinforcement.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the reinforcement.





4. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.





5. Remove the electrical loom box.
1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2. Pull the tabs and lower the electrical loom box.





6. CAUTION: Apply two strips of masking tape across the clockspring to prevent rotation.

Depress the three clips and position the clockspring aside.





7. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the multifunction switch assembly.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
