REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe







2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor.







3. Open the air cleaner snaps and remove the outlet side of the air cleaner.

NOTE: No tools are needed to remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) element. The following removal and installation steps should be carried out using hands only.

4. If necessary, remove the MAF sensor from the outlet side of the air cleaner.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: The grommet used to seal the air cleaner housing must be fully seated. Failure to do so will result in unmetered air entering the engine.

NOTE: Use the alignment notches to correctly align the inlet side and the outlet side of the air cleaner.
