Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube

Removal
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. CAUTION: Only use hand tools to remove the oil pump screen and pick up tube.

Remove the bolts and the pump screen cover and tube.
^ Inspect the O-ring seal and install a new one if necessary.





3. Verify the retaining washers are in place.

Installation





1. NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring prior to installing.

Install the oil pump screen cover and tube.
2. Install the oil pan.
