System Description

The hood consists of the following components:
^ hood latch striker
^ hood latch
^ hood latch release and cable

The door lock system consists of the following components:
^ door ajar switch
^ door lock cylinder
^ exterior door handle
^ front door latch
^ interior door handle
^ driver and passenger door lock control switches.

The luggage compartment lid lock system consists of the following components:
^ luggage compartment lid latch with a mechanical interior release handle and cable
^ luggage compartment lid latch remote switch
^ luggage compartment lid lock cylinder
^ luggage compartment lid release cable

When installing the removable top latches, they can only be installed and adjusted one time.

Lock Cylinder Repair
Individual lock cylinders are repaired by discarding the inoperative cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate lock repair package. The lock repair package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current key code of the vehicle.
