Trunk / Liftgate: Adjustments

1. Open and support the luggage compartment lid.







2. Remove the bolts and the luggage compartment lid striker.







3. Loosen the lower hinge bolts enough to permit movement.







4. Adjust the hinge to align the luggage compartment lid as necessary.
5. Check the luggage compartment lid for correct alignment.







6. Tighten the luggage compartment lid hinge bolts.







7. Install and adjust the luggage compartment lid striker as necessary.







8. Tighten the luggage compartment lid striker bolts.
9. Lubricate the hinges and door check arms with Multi-Purpose Grease Spray, F5AZ-19G209-AA meeting Ford specification ESR-M1C159-A (in Canada CXC-110-B).
