Attachment III - Technical Information

OVERVIEW

This document details the procedure for disconnecting the speed control cable from the throttle body and securing it out of the way.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Open the hood and remove the cable cover from the cable bracket.

2. Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle body and remove the cable from the cable bracket.





3. Position the speed control cable along side the throttle cable and secure the two cables together using vinyl electrical tape or equivalent. See Figure 1.

4. Install the cable cover back onto the cable bracket and close the hood.
