Generator

All types of generators are solidly mounted to the engine and are driven at approximately twice the engine speed. The powertrain control module controls the output voltage of the generator through the voltage regulator. The voltage regulator is fitted to the generator and can not be renewed separately. Generators should be repaired as an assembly and not dismantled for repair.
