Exhaust Manifold
Removal





1. Remove the oil level indicator and tube.
2. Remove the radiator fan and shroud. For additional information, refer to Engine Cooling.





3. Remove the heat shield lower retaining bolts.





4. Disconnect the exhaust manifold from the catalytic converter.
5. Lower the vehicle.





6. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.





7. Remove the exhaust manifold.
^ Discard the gaskets.

Installation

1. NOTE: Install new exhaust manifold gaskets.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
