Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Check, and as necessary, fill the transmission with MERCON Multipurpose (ATF) Transmission Fluid XT-2-QDX or equivalent. The total fill capacity is 3.1L (6.6 pi).
2. Apply sealant to the fill plug threads and install the fill plug.
^ Use Pipe Sealant with Teflon D8AZ-19554-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M18P7-A.
