Vehicles With Manual Windows

REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.







2. Remove the window inner trim panel.







3. Remove the side impact bolster.







4. Remove the door speaker (if equipped).







5. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.







6. Detach the door latch release handle.







7. Detach the watershield.
^ Using a plastic knife (disposable cutlery), cut through the Butyl strip to enable the watershield to be peeled back.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.







8. Detach the door glass top run from the door glass run retainer.







9. Remove the door glass run retainer.







10. Position the lower part of the door glass top run outside the door.
11. Install the window regulator handle.







12. Align the regulator clamp with the access hole (power window shown).







13. Detach the window glass from the regulator.
1. Push out the pin.
2. Push out the sleeve.
3. Remove the glass from the regulator clamp.







14. Remove the window glass.

NOTE: To aid removal of the door glass, stand on the inner side of the door. Make sure the glass is removed from the inside of the door.

INSTALLATION







1. Install the window glass in the door.







2. Attach the window glass to the regulator clamp.
1. Push in the sleeve.
2. Push in the pin.
3. Push the window glass firmly down to engage the pin into the regulator clamp.







3. Position the lower part of the door glass top run on the inside of the door.







4. Install the door glass top run retainer.







5. Install the door glass top run in the door glass top run retainer.







6. Attach the watershield.







7. Attach the door latch release handle.







8. Connect the door speaker electrical connector.







9. Install the door speaker.







10. Install the side impact bolster.







11. Install the window trim panel.
12. Install the door trim panel.
