Air Bag Control Module
A new air bag control module must be installed following a collision in which the safety belt pretensioners or air bag(s) are deployed.

Front Air Bag Modules
A new driver air bag module and wiring harness with the air bag module electrical connectors must be installed following deployment.

A new instrument panel, front passenger air bag module and wiring harness with the air bag module electrical connectors must be installed following deployment.

Side Air Bag Modules
A new seat must be installed following a side air bag deployment.

Front passenger Safety Belt Buckle and Pretensioner
A new front passenger safety belt buckle and pretensioner must be installed following deployment.

Driver Safety Belt Retractor and Pretensioner
In the event of a front impact the air bag control module will deploy the pretensioner. The driver safety belt retractor pretensioner has a lower deployment threshold than that required by the air bags. Hence it is possible during a minor collision, which exceeds the deployment threshold, that only the safety belt pretensioner will deploy. A new driver safety belt retractor and pretensioner must be installed following deployment.

Air Bag Sliding Contact
Inspect the airbag sliding contact for damage following a driver air bag deployment. Install a new air bag sliding contact if necessary.

Side Impact Sensor
A new side impact sensor must be installed following a side impact in which a side air bag deploys.

WARNING: The RCM orientation is critical for correct system operation. If a vehicle equipped with an air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) has been involved in a collision in which the center tunnel area has been damaged, inspect the mounting and bracket for deformation. If damaged, install a new RCM whether or not the air bags have deployed. In addition, make sure the area of the RCM mounting is restored to its original condition. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
