Gearshift Linkage Adjustment-Vehicles with iB5 Manual Transaxle





General Procedure


1. Shift the gearshift mechanism to neutral.





2. Remove the gearshift lever cover.

3. NOTE: Insert the drill bit correctly





Insert a 3 mm drill bit.
4. Raise the vehicle.





5. Open the shift and selector cable cover.





6. Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
1. Unlock the selector cable (press colored insert).
2. Move the selector lever to its center position.





7. Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
1. Engage 3rd or 4th gear (move the gearshift lever to its right-hand or left-hand stop position).
2. Lock the selector cable.





8. Close the shift and selector cable cover.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Pull out the drill bit.





11. Install in the shift lever cover.
