General Information
This section contains descriptions of Diagnosis and Testing, and of General Service Operations for the iB5 manual transaxle, the MTX 75 manual transaxle and the clutch.
Both manual transaxles are equipped with a cable shift and with a hydraulic clutch operating system.

Transaxle variants
The vehicle is available with the iB5 manual transaxle and the MTX 75 manual transaxle.
Availability is as follows:
^ The iB5 manual transaxle is available with the 2.0L SPI engine.
^ The MTX 75 manual transaxle is available with the 2.0L Zetec-E engine.
