Selector Lever

Disassembly

1. NOTE: Use vise jaw protectors for all work to be done in the vise.





Disconnect the Overdrive (O/D) switch electrical connector.





2. Remove the selector lever knob.
^ Remove the screw.





3. Disassemble the selector lever.
^ Plunger
^ Bezel
^ Lamp
^ Cover

Assembly

1. NOTE: Coat all sliding and turning parts with grease.





Assemble the selector lever.
^ Cover
^ Lamp
^ Bezel
^ Plunger

2. CAUTION: Do not damage the O/D wiring.





Install the selector lever knob.
^ Install the screw.





3. Connect the O/D switch electrical connector.
