Gearshift Rail Bushing

Special Tools:

Disassembly

Note: Carry out this procedure only after carefully inspecting each bushing. Remove only those bushings requiring further inspection.





1. Using the special tool, remove the main shift rail bushing from the flywheel housing.





2. Using a brass drift, remove the main shift rail bushing from the case.





3. Using a brass drift, remove the main shift rail bushing from the extension housing.

Assembly





1. Using the special tool, install the main shift rail bushing.
^ Apply Threadlock and Sealer EOAZ-19554-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G351-A5 to the outside of the main shift rail bushing.





2. Using the special tool, install the main shift rail bushing.





3. Using the special tool, install the main shift rail bushing.
