Manifold and Tube Assembly - Compressor to Condenser

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.







3. Disconnect the electrical connector.







4. Remove the pressure cut-off switch.
5. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service.







6. Remove the A/C muffler bracket nut.







7. Disconnect the fitting at the compressor.







8. Disconnect the fitting at the condenser.
9. Remove the compressor to condenser tube.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the O-ring seal with PAG Compressor Oil, YN-12c, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
