Disassembly

1. CAUTION: Use care when disassembling the synchronizer assembly. The detent balls are spring loaded and may be ejected from the assembly.

Disassemble the synchronizer.





1 Remove the synchronizer outer ring.
2 Remove the detent ball.
3 Remove the blocker bar.
4 Remove the compression spring.

Assembly
1. Assemble the synchronizer.





1 Install the compression spring.
2 Install the blocker ball.
3 Install the detent ball.
4 Install the synchronizer outer ring.
