Right Side

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.





3. Disconnect the hoses.





4. If equipped, remove the exhaust air supply valve assembly.
1 Loosen the tube nut.
2 Disconnect the air tube.
3 Disconnect the vacuum tube.
4 Remove the nuts.





5. Loosen the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) nut.





6. Remove the EGR tube.
- Disconnect the vacuum lines.

7. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.





8. Remove the LH exhaust manifold flange nuts.





9. Remove the RH exhaust manifold flange nuts.
10. Lower the vehicle.





11. If quipped with exhaust air supply valve, loosen the nut.





12. NOTE: Discard the exhaust manifold gasket.

Remove the RH exhaust manifold.
- Remove the nuts.


Installation























1. NOTE: Tighten the nuts in the sequence shown.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
