Special Tools:

Disassembly





1. Remove the countershaft rear roller bearing retaining ring.





2. Using the special tools, remove the countershaft rear support bearing.

Assembly





1. CAUTION: The funnel side of the bearing outer race must face inward toward the extension housing.

Using the special tools, install the countershaft rear support bearing.
2. Install the countershaft rear support bearing retaining ring. Apply petroleum jelly to the bearing.
3. Remove the special tool from the extension housing.
