Shifter M/T: Service and Repair

Removal





1. Remove the gearshift lever knob.





2. Remove the console panel gearshift plate. Lift the gearshift lever boot over the gearshift lever.





3. Remove the bolts.





4. Remove the inner shifter boot.





5. Remove the bolts and the gearshift lever.
6. Remove the gearshift boot.

Installation
1. Install the shifter boot.





2. Install the gearshift lever cover.





3. Note: The gearshift lever must be installed on the LH side of the gearshift stub shaft.

Install the gearshift lever.





4. Install the inner shifter boot.





5. Install the console panel gearshift plate and the gearshift lever boot.





6. Install the gearshift lever knob.
