You must use OASIS to determine if a vehicle is eligible for this program.

PLEASE NOTE
^ Owners will receive a notification letter that instructs them to contact a Special Vehicle Team (SVT) Coordinator at 1-800-367-3655 to arrange a service appointment with their SVT dealer. The SVT Coordinator will contact your dealership on behalf of the vehicle owner to schedule the appointment. The SVT Coordinator will also order the service parts kit for the repair.

^ Due to the limited availability of service parts kits, dealers should only update in-stock units after the unit has been sold, yet prior to delivery. You must contact an SVT Coordinator at 1-800-367-3655 to arrange for a service parts kit to be shipped if you have involved vehicle in stock. When calling this number, identify Owner Notification Program 99B27 and have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the in-stock vehicle to be serviced.

^ Dealers can deliver a 1999 Mustang Cobra that has not received the performance update. The purchaser must sign the Vehicle Retail Disclosure Notice provided to dealers in COMBAT Message # 295 dated September 14, 1999.

DEALER-OWNER CONTACT

^ Dealers can advise owners that they will be receiving a personalized letter with information about contacting the SVT Coordinators and arranging for the service to be completed.

^ Mailing of Owner Notification Program 99B27 customer letters will be based on retail delivery date.

CLAIMS PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION

^ Enter claims using DWE.

^ Refer to ACESII Manual for claims preparation and submission information.

RENTAL CARS

Ford Motor Company will pay for a loaner or rental vehicle, except for fuel which will be at the owner's expense. Enter the word "LOANER" plus the number of days the vehicle was used in the Miscellaneous Expense area. Reference the Mustang Cobra Owners Special Handling Instructions (Attachment V) for further information.
