Bearing Retainers

Replace bearing retainers that are grooved or showing wear from the thrust or adjacent bearings. Check the oil return threads in the bearing retainers. If the sealing action of the threads has been destroyed by contact from the input shaft or output and fifth gear drive shaft, replace the retainers.
