Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the clutch system to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect the following components to determine if any mechanical concerns apply:
3. Verify wiring and connections for the Clutch Pedal Position Switch (CPP) to find looseness, corrosion, damage or other obvious causes for a concern.
4. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s), correct concern and continue Inspection and Verification.
5. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptoms and go to the Symptom Chart.
