Turn Signals: Description and Operation

The turn signal system consists of:
- turn signal miniature bulbs.
- turn signal indicators in instrument cluster.
- electronic flasher.
- multi-function switch.
- circuit wiring and circuit protection.

Power is supplied to the electronic flasher through fuse junction panel Fuse 1 (15A) and Circuit 298 (P/O). This fuse is hot in RUN.

The electronic flasher is connected to the turn signal switch of the multi-function switch through Circuit 44 (LB). Ground is provided to the electronic flasher and the turn signal miniature bulbs through Circuit 57 (BK).
- With the multi-function switch in the right turn position, power is supplied to the RH front turn signal miniature bulbs, the right turn indicator in the instrument cluster through Circuit 2 (W/LB) and to the RH rear turn signal miniature bulb through Circuit 5(O/LB).
- With the multi-function switch in the left turn position, power is supplied to the LH front turn signal miniature bulbs, the left turn indicator in the instrument cluster through Circuit 3 (LG/W), and to the LH rear turn signal miniature bulb through Circuit 9 (LG/O).
