Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

The luggage compartment lamp system consists of:
- Is integral to the hi-mount stoplamp.
- Luggage compartment lamp switch.
- Luggage compartment lamp and miniature bulb.
- Luggage compartment lamp wiring and circuit protection.

The luggage compartment lamp switch:
- Is provided power through Circuit 54 (LG/Y).
- Is closed by opening the luggage compartment door.
- Provides power to illuminate the luggage compartment lamp.
- Is grounded through Circuit 55 (BK/PK).
