Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the horn system to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged horn switch.
^ Damaged horn unit.
^ Damaged horn relay.
^ Blocked horn opening.

Electrical
^ Open fuse DRL, FOG, HORNS (20A).
^ Damaged horn circuit.
^ Loose or corroded connectors.

3. If the inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concerns remain after the inspection, determine the conditions and Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
