Removal and Installation
REMOVAL1. Push the headlamp switch to the OFF position.
WARNING: THE REPLACEABLE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE. THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS SCRATCHED OR IF THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB IS DROPPED. HANDLE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CAREFULLY. GRASP HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB ONLY BY ITS PLASTIC BASE. AVOID TOUCHING GLASS ENVELOPE. KEEP HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
2. Remove the headlamp dash panel junction wire from the headlamp bulb and retainer by pulling it rearward.
3. Remove nut retaining side parking lamp and remove side parking lamp by pulling it straight out.
4. Remove headlamp mounting clip from upper outboard adjusting screw.
5. Squeeze the retaining tabs on the remaining headlamp screws and push the studs forward to release and remove headlamp assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Align adjusting screws with the guides and push the headlamp assembly straight back until the lock tabs engage.
2. Install headlamp mounting clip to upper outboard adjusting screw.
3. Install the parking lamp.
4. Install headlamp dash panel junction wire connector to headlamp bulb and retainer.
5. Turn headlamp switch ON and check for proper operation. Check headlamp aim and adjust as necessary.
