Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the outside rear view mirrors to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect the components to determine if any of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Broken outside rear view Fuse 8 (10A).

Electrical
- Open fuse junction panel mirror glass.
- Open connectors.
- Corroded connectors.


3. If inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concerns remain after the inspection determine the symptoms and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
