Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Description and Operation

The instrument panel features a separate instrument panel reinforcement and houses the controls for most of the vehicle's electrical systems.

- The RH side of the instrument panel contains:
^ the glove compartment.
^ the passenger side air bag module.

- The center of the instrument panel supports:
^ the radio chassis.
^ the A/C control.

- The LH side of the instrument panel frames the steering column tube and houses:
^ the instrument cluster.
^ the instrument panel finish panel
^ vehicle identification plate.
