Input Shaft: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

DISASSEMBLY





1. Using a press and Bearing Puller Attachment 205-DO02 (D79L-4621-A) or equivalent, remove bearing from input shaft and discard.





2. Using Collet 303-DO22 (D80L-100-T) and Forcing Screw 303-DO06 (D80L-100-B) from Blind Hole Puller Set 303-DS005 (D80L-100-A) or equivalent, remove input shaft pocket outer bearing race from input shaft.

ASSEMBLY





1. Using Remover/Replacer Tube 308-024 (T75L-7025-B), Bearing Cup Replacer 205-011 (T57L-4621-B) and press, install new bearing on input shaft as shown.





2. Using Bearing Cup Replacer 204-038 (T77F-1217-A), Driver Handle 205-DO55 (D81L-4000-A) or equivalent and press, install input shaft pocket outer race into input shaft.
