Fuel System Manual Control Valve (CNG): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Perform Fuel Charging System, Pre-Service procedure.
2. Remove three retaining bolts and remove fuel pressure regulator shield.
3. Slowly loosen the fuel line tube nuts and allow residual pressure to vent.
4. Remove fuel lines.
5. Remove retaining clip and quarter turn ball valve.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

CAUTION: Replace O-ring seal in the fittings. Lubricate O-ring seals with clean engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-F.

NOTE:
- Make sure all O-ring sealing surfaces are clean.
- Natural gas O-rings are identified with a yellow stripe. Do not use unapproved O-rings.

2. Tighten fuel line tube nuts to 34-39 Nm (25-28 lb-ft).
3. Tighten jacking shield bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in).
4. Pressurize fuel system in Fuel Charging System, Post-Service procedure.
5. Test system for leaks.
