Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Push the accelerator cable nylon bushing out of the accelerator pedal arm.
2. Remove the two accelerator pedal and shaft to dash panel retaining nuts.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten the accelerator pedal and shaft retaining nuts to 15-20 Nm (11-14 lb-ft). Make sure that the pedal motion is not restricted.
