General Inspection

1. Check the parking brake rear cable and conduits for damage and proper routing. If the parking brake rear cable and conduit are damaged, they must be replaced.
2. Operate the parking brake control and check for conditions that may cause binding, groaning or an incomplete release of the parking brake.
3. Verify the parking brake control stroke is five to seven notches when applied with a foot pedal force of 445 N (100 lbs.).
