Manual Climate Control

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the manual A/C heater controls to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

Visual Inspection Chart
Mechanical
^ Broken or leaking vacuum control motor.
^ Broken A/C-heater function selector switch.

Electrical
^ Blown fuse.
^ Heater blower motor switch inoperative.
^ Circuitry open/shorted.
^ A/C -heater function selector switch inoperative.
^ A/C electronic blend door actuator inoperative.

3. If inspection reveals obvious concerns which can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the condition(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Manual Climate Control
