One-Way Clutch, A/T

DISASSEMBLY





1. Rotate low-intermediate one-way clutch outer race counterclockwise to remove from rear sun gear assembly.





2. Rotate roller and cage assembly clockwise to unlock tabs.
3. Remove low-intermediate one-way clutch roller and cage assembly from low-intermediate one-way clutch race (outer).
4. Clean and inspect rollers and cage for cracks, brinelling or scoring. Service as required.

ASSEMBLY





1. Install low intermediate one-way cutch roller assembly to low-intermediate one-way clutch race (outer). Then, rotate counterclockwise to lock tabs.






2. Clean and inspect rear sun gear assembly bushing, bearing and inner race. Service as required.






3. Install one-way clutch assembly to rear sun gear assembly by rotating counterclockwise.

NOTE: Outer splined race should rotate counterclockwise and hold clockwise.
