A/C Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The A/C clutch control relay is used to improve engine idle after engine start-up and to improve acceleration performance.

OPERATION
The A/C is cut off for approximately five seconds under the following conditions:
- Just after the engine is started
- When the Throttle Position Sensor (TP) sensor indicates Wide Open Throttle (WOT)
- When the clutch pedal is disengaged (except NEUTRAL) on MTX only

LOCATION
The A/C clutch control relay is located on the engine compartment fuse junction panel.
