With Automatic Transmission

1. Key OFF.
2. Disconnect the Transmission Range (TR) switch C168.







3. Measure the resistance between the 5 terminal and the 2 terminal on the TR switch under these conditions:

Condition Resistance
Transaxle in R Less than 5 ohms.
Transaxle in P, D, N, 2 or 1 Greater than 10,000 ohms.

4. If the TR switch is OK, return to the pinpoint tests. Pinpoint Tests
5. Otherwise, replace the TR switch.
